Prevalence of Significant Tricuspid Regurgitation in Patients Planned for Mitral Valve Surgery in a Tertiary Center of Nepal

Background Tricuspid regurgitation is frequently present in patients with mitral valve disease and most of this tricuspid are significant.
 Objective To find out the prevalence adult our hospital who planned for isolated surgery stenosis, or both. Patients moderate severe were considered as Method This was retrospective cross-sectional study performed at Shahid Gangalal National Heart Center Nepal. All cardiac surgical scheduled during 3 years’ period from 2017 to 2020 enrolled presence absence significant recorded analysed.
 Result Out total 65% (663) cases pathology had regurgitation. stenosis 70% associated regurgitation, 62.6% 64.8% combined regurgitation.
 Conclusion Significant pathology. So routine evaluation repair if needed surgeries recommended.
